Van Lou Sterling silver filigree earrings & pin brooch

Description

This is a beautiful and delicate filigree set of clip earrings and matching brooch in a rose design made in sterling silver. They look like lace! The earrings are clips with screw closures to control the tightness. All three pieces are signed "Van Lou Sterling" on the back, which is a hallmark used by Louis Fleishmann in New York since 1949. The stamp is in a small rectangle; I think the rectangles are visible in my photos, but the writing inside them was difficult to make show up in the pictures. The diameter of the earrings is 5/8" and they have a depth of about 3/8", which gives them a nice dimensional effect. The diameter of the pin is 1.75", with an approximate depth of .75" (see pictures 4 and 5, each taken from a different side). There is a slight bend in the pin stem from use, but it fastens correctly.
