The spindles themselves are created by 3D printer using PLA, which is a plastic created from renewable sources. it's heat resistant up to 50 degrees Celsius. The plastic can be sanded and painted if desired. Due to how 3D printing works there may be some imperfections however we make sure that it's functionality remains the same.
The plastic is only heat resistant up to 50 degrees Celsius. It is not dishwasher safe. It should not be ingested.
